Javea - Costa Blanca
Javea-Xabia, in the Land of Valencia, is a tourist and maritime town on the Costa Blanca. It is situated between the San Antonio and La Nao capes, enjoying the impressive and magnificent protection of Mount Montgó. The clean, warm, blue Mediterranean Sea washes its miles of beaches, coves and cliffs where you can enjoy hours of sun and sea. With its variety of landscape, its mild year round climate Javea is a jewel on the Costa Blanca.

Javea old town is steeped in history, with tosca stone porticoes, gothic bay windows, wrought iron window bars and balcony railings. The church of San Bartolemé in the town centre is an example of late gothic with a defensive character. The "Soler Blasco" Archaeological Museum is close by in the narrow streets and offers a wealth of information about the Iberian history. Nearby you can find the covered indoor market selling all sorts of household goods, fruit, vegetables, meat and fresh fish brought up from the Port daily.
